The lure illustrations that are apart of this website are made from photographs of conventional lures and actual fish that were caught - and then released. These are illustrations only and not actual lures. They are made digitally using Adobe Photoshop. They are an exploration of what lures might look like in the future and homage to many lure designs that are presently being produced now. Fishing lures seem to get more realistic every new fishing season. But mainly these lure illustrations are just for fun. Some of them were originally posted on alt.binaries.pictures.fishing. They received comments and interest from a few posters wanting to see them put together into a website, where they could be viewed together.
